Lampasas Murals
“Remembering the Past with Vision for the Future”
Murals throughout the city are created and designed by a group of local volunteers on the Vision Lampasas Art Committee. Vision Lampasas is dedicated to enhancing the aesthetic, social, cultural, and economic welfare of Lampasas to better reflect an expanded focus on the entire city.

Boot Roundup Mural
Located on Western Street near the intersection on Fourth Street, this mural pays tribute to legendary Lampasas boot maker Ray Jones and the area artisans who followed his footsteps.

"Water is Life"
Located at 400 S. Pecan downtown breezeway.

"Portraits of the Past"
Located above the awning at the Trading Post at 406 S. Live Oak Street, this mural depicts the influence of agriculture during the 1940's. Snapping the "portraits" is a silhouette of local photographer, Virgil Wooten. Dedicated to the citizens of Lampasas, December 16, 2013.

Located on the Lucky Key Mart building onFourth Street, this mural depicts the eclipse that is expected to occur onApril 8, 2024.

Located at North Key Avenue and Second Street, this mural highlights noteworthy musical artists who have Lampasas roots.

Located at Fourth and Pecan Streets, depicts various wildflower seed packets.

Located at 609 S. Key Avenue, this mural depicts vintage cars and a drive-in theater that was a popular offering for many Lampasans.

Located at 405 N. Key Avenue, this mural depicts community pride in active duty military, veterans and first responders who maintain our saftey and freedom.
