What medical care does this facility provide to its animals prior to adoption?

All dogs available for adoption will have age appropriate distemper/parvo vaccinations, Bordetella vaccinations if old enough, general deworming, and will be treated for fleas and ticks depending on funding for medication. Dogs over six months will be tested for heartworms if the tests are currently available. Rabies Vaccinations are required to be done within seven days of adoption (or by 16 weeks of age), and the spay /neuter is required to be done within thirty days of adoption (or by 6 months of age). Both are at the expense of the adopter.
